Tarragon – Aromatic Herb for Chicken and Fish Dishes

Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) is a refined and aromatic culinary herb often used in vinegar preserves, salad dressings, soups and chicken or fish dishes. Its fresh flavour adds an elegant herbal note to cooking.

Sow early in spring for pre-growing or directly outdoors from late spring to early summer. Thin the seedlings and move them to their final growing location once they are strong enough. The leaves can be used fresh or dried in cooking.
