Sage (Salvia officinalis) is a perennial and aromatic herb with a long history of use in cooking and traditional herb gardens. Sage is especially well suited for seasoning meat, fish, liver and other rich dishes. The leaves can also be used for herbal tea.
Sow the seeds indoors for pre-growing in March–April or directly in an outdoor seedbed from April to June. The seedlings can be planted in their final growing location later. Sage grows best in a sunny and warm place.
