Peppermint – Fresh Herb for Tea and Cooking

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) is a fresh and versatile herb that is well suited for cooking, drinks and herbal tea. The fresh or dried leaves add a refreshing flavour to sauces, desserts and warm drinks.

Sow the seeds indoors for pre-growing in March–April or directly outdoors from April to June. The seedlings can be planted in their final growing location later. Peppermint spreads easily, so growing it in a pot is often a good option.
