Pea ‘American Wonder’ – Low-Growing Pea for Small Gardens

Pea ‘American Wonder’ (Pisum sativum) is a classic and sweet pea variety that is ideal for home gardens. Thanks to its compact growth habit, the plants grow to around 40 cm tall and usually do not require separate support.

This variety produces plenty of sweet and juicy peas that are well suited for fresh use, cooking and freezing. It is easy to grow and also works well in small gardens and growing boxes.

Sow the seeds outdoors from mid-April to mid-May, about 2–3 cm deep in rows. One seed packet is enough for approximately 5–6 metres of row.
