Oregano – Classic Herb for Pizza and Pasta

Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a perennial and strongly aromatic herb that is one of the classic herbs of Mediterranean cooking. It is especially well suited for pizzas, pasta dishes, stews and other warm meals.

Sow the seeds indoors for pre-growing in March–April or directly outdoors from April to June. The seedlings can be moved outside later when the weather is suitable. Oregano can also be used dried for later cooking.
